Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissha”) has received an “A-” rating in the climate change survey conducted by the CDP, a global non-profit, improving from last year's “B” rating. This rating is the second rating of the eight levels from the top and reflects the recognition of our initiatives to climate change and our enhancement of information disclosure.
The CDP operates a global environmental disclosure system for companies and local governments and conducts surveys on the environment for more than 24,800 companies around the world. The companies surveyed are evaluated on the comprehensiveness of their information disclosure and the effectiveness of their strategies and responses to environmental risks, and the evaluation scores are widely used for investment in a sustainable economy and for decision making regarding corporate purchasing and procurement.

Nissha group aims to reduce 30% of total CO2 emissions in view of carbon-neutral by 2050 (compared to 2020). In FY2024, we promoted the installation of energy-saving equipment at domestic production sites and the expansion of solar facilities at overseas operations. We will continue our initiatives to realize carbon-neutral.
