Nissha to Exhibit Friction and Shear Force Sensors
at “FINETECH JAPAN - International Electronic Display Industry Expo-”

October 25, 2024

Nissha Co., Ltd.

Devices Business Unit of Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissha”) exhibits at the “FINETECH JAPAN -International Electronic Display Industry Expo-”, held at Makuhari Messe from October 29, 2024. FINETECH JAPAN is an international exhibition that brings together companies from around the world involved in manufacturing equipment, materials, and processing technologies for electronic displays. Nissha will introduce friction and shear force sensors, as well as contract manufacturing services of patterning process.

Our friction and shear force sensors can detect simultaneously vertical and horizontal force. Our products are thin and lightweight as well as highly flexible in shape because they use film as the base material. We assume them to be used in XYZ 3 axis measurement system*, etc.

*A system that can measure and visualize force applied to an object in three directions: XY axis (horizontal) and Z axis (vertical). This system can be applied to a variety of field, such as manufacturing (quantification of production process, quantification of skilled techniques) and healthcare (gait analysis for rehabilitation).

Also, we will introduce contract manufacturing services of patterning process. Patterning is a processing technology that forms precise circuit patterns with functionality onto films. This technology can be used in a wide range of applications, including capacitive type film-based touch sensors and strain gauges.
