Devices Business Unit of Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "Nissha") will exhibit its friction and shear force sensors at "Manufacturing World 2024" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 19, 2024. Manufacturing World is an international exhibition that brings together companies throughout the world related to manufacturing and its services.

Our friction and shear force sensors can detect simultaneously vertical and horizontal force. Our products are thin and lightweight as well as highly flexible in shape because they use film as the base material. We assume them to be used in XYZ 3 axis measurement system*, etc.

*A system that can measure and visualize force applied to an object in three directions: XY axis (horizontal) and Z axis (vertical). This system can be applied to a variety of applications, such as gait analysis for rehabilitation or quantification of production process.
