Started Rentals of Kits for Evaluating Friction and Shear Force Sensors

June 11, 2021

Nissha Co., Ltd.

Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Nissha"), has started rentals of kits for evaluating friction and shear force sensors.
Friction and shear force sensors are force sensors that detect force in three directions: not just vertically-applied force, but friction and shear forces applied horizontally. Nissha's friction and shear force sensors are made on a base of film to be light and flexible, yet can detect forces applied in three directions at multiple points simultaneously. They have a wide range of uses, such as tactile sensors in robotic hands or as interfaces for input devices
