Nissha Obtains Health and Productivity Management Organization (White 500) Certification Three Years Running

Nissha Co., Ltd. has now been certified as a Health and Productivity Management Organization in the large enterprise category (White 500) for three years running.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) promotes initiatives towards the strategic implementation of “health and productivity management” based on the idea that companies should consider the health management of their employees and others from a management perspective. As part of this, METI has established the Health and Productivity Management Organization certification system as a way to commend companies that carry out particularly excellent health and productivity management.

Nissha Group sees enriching people’s lives as our Mission, via bringing together a diverse range of capabilities and passion, and the sustained creation of technology and expanding this to economic and social value. We consider that the physical and mental health of each of our employees is the foundation for achieving this Mission, and so in 2014 we established an Occupational Safety and Health Policy, and in 2018, we formulated our Health Declaration.

Nissha Group is carrying out the following specific initiatives.
  • In addition to employee health management (through regular health checkups, etc.), we are also improving the workplace environment through the use of stress checks.
  • We hold seminars on stopping smoking, and provide anti-smoking programs to help smokers.
  • As of October 2018, we have reduced the number of smoking areas in the head office and other areas in order to prevent passive smoking.
These initiatives have been recognized by METI, which certified us as a Health and Productivity Management Organization in the large enterprise category (White 500) for the third year running.

We shall continue with these initiatives, and at the same time, aim to further promote physical and mental health for employees, and improve our corporate value.
