Nissha Exhibits at CareTEX 2019
February 6, 2019
Nissha Co., Ltd.
Nissha Co., Ltd (hereafter, “Nissha”) is set to exhibit at Care TEX 2019 to be held in Tokyo Big Sight on February 6 to 8, 2019. The trade show presents nursing care supplies, and equipment and services for nursing homes. Nissha will exhibit a patient monitoring system Care One.
The patient monitoring system Care One, using the cloud and wireless sensors combining sensing technology with low-power wireless technology, is an IoT platform designed to monitor multiple residents at once in long-term care facilities. Nissha draws on its sensing technology cultivated to date to offer products that meet the need for streamlining and automation at care facilities.
Care One is a tie-up with a nurse call system by CARECOM Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chofu-shi, Tokyo; President Mitsuhiro Ikegawa). Calls from Care One are relayed through the nurse call system to the personal handy-phone system (PHS) carried by the caregiver, who may be working at any location within the facility. By sending notification directly from the resident’s room, the function contracts the caregivers’ traffic pattern and reduces the tasks that need to be performed in the given situation.
Visitors are invited to the Nissha booth to see demonstrations of a resident rising from bed, and notification being sent to the caregiver’s PHS.
