Nissha Co., Ltd (hereafter, “Nissha”) is set to exhibit at 3rd Smart Factory Expo to be held in Tokyo Big Sight on January 16 to 18, 2019. The trade show presents the latest technologies and solutions for realizing smart factories and smart logistics, including the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), factory automation (FA), and robotics. Nissha will exhibit its Force Map Monitoring Kit, Shear Force Sensor and Wireless Sensor Network.

Nissha’s Devices Business provides film-based touch sensors and products derived from this mainstay such as the Force Sensor for detecting input force and the wireless sensor network targeting the IoT market.
The booth will introduce the Force Map Monitoring Kit, designed with a high-resolution thin sensor to realize simple, quantitative measurement of pressure distribution required in production processes such as crimping, pressing, and laminating. The extensible kit allows the addition of wireless sensors for remote monitoring, featuring a high affinity with IoT products and the potential to contribute to rising demand for smart factories.
Also on display will be the Shear Force Sensor, for in-plane friction analysis.
