Notice Regarding Shutdown of Nissha Subsidiary Factory

Nissha Group company Nitec Industries, Inc. (hereinafter “Nitec Industries”) has decided to shut down one of its production bases, the Tsu Factory, as of June 30, 2016.
The Nitec Industries Tsu Factory went online in April 2010 as a mass-production site of the Nissha Group’s Industrial Materials business. With changes in demand for its main product line, molded plastic parts used in products such as notebook PCs, however, functions will be integrated into the Koka Factory toward building a more streamlined production system.
Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. plans to convert the site into a production base of its Devices business with the aim of starting operations in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018. Details will be provided in due course.
The impact of the factory shutdown on Nissha’s consolidated business results is expected to be minor.
