Nissha Printing Co.,Ltd.

Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. has embarked on the development of "Store Beacon" , an Online to Offline (O2O) system that visualizes customer activity using iBeacon.
A drawback of the near field communication (NFC) technology often used in conventional O2O was its incompatibility with the iPhone. "Store Beacon" overcomes this drawback by supporting iBeacon, the new function of iOS7 expected to be a trump card in O2O marketing. "Store Beacon" aims not only to feature promotional functions such as issuing coupons but also to serve as a network analysis tool for tracking real-life customer activity. Development is underway to measure, for example, the number of passersby who visit a physical store, rate of repeat visitors, and rate of customer contact with the products—all of which were impossible to track up to now.
