Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Nissha”) has agreed to acquire capital in TPK Film Solutions Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TPK Film”), a subsidiary of TPK Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TPK”), a Taiwanese manufacturer of touch panels, aimed at promoting the development of silver nanowire ink processing technology for conductive materials. Nissha plans to acquire a total of 6,250,000 new common shares (US$6,250,000) to be issued by TPK Film.
Nissha is promoting the development of materials and material processing technology for the conductive materials that compose touch panels. Based on this capital participation, the company is aiming to advance the development of technology towards the mass production of silver nanowire inks, which are a type of conductive material, and to expand the scope of its business in the touch panel area.
