Nissha concludes a basic contract for the establishment of a joint venture in South Korea

Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Nissha") and S-MAC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "S-MAC") concluded a basic contract as described below on March 15, 2013 to hold discussions towards the establishment of a joint venture aimed at producing film capacitive touch sensors based on the printing manufacturing method.

Background and purpose of the establishment of the joint venture

This joint venture is aimed at combining Nissha's production technology related to film-type sensors and S-MAC's sensor module production technology to produce precise, highly production efficient touch panels in the production and selling of touch panels using film capacitive sensors based on the printing manufacturing method, which is forecast to grow in the future. Doing so will increase both companies' production capacities and expand their business opportunities in the global market.
