We are an official corporate sponsor of the special exhibition "Honen and Shinran: Treasures Related to the Great Masters of the Kamakura Buddhism"(October 25 - December 4, 2011) at Tokyo National Museum in Japan.
The exhibition is held in commemoration of the 800th Grand Memorial of Honen Shonin, the founder of Jodo Shu and the 750th Grand Memorial of Shinran Shonin, the founder of Jodo Shinshu, and focuses on the lives, teachings and teacher-student relationship of two great masters. Approximately 190 of the finest works, many of which are either National Treasures or Important Cultural Properties of Japan, are introduced in the exhibition.
